Hi. I have a suggestion for the Company of Heroes team: There are some visual differences when playing in ultra or high texture settings, but the main difference relies in the size of the texture maps, right? But most players do play from high above (the fartest level of zoom possible) and do not really benefit from the excellent textures (and paying a heavy burden on graphic card performance). Well, you can say: “why didn’t you play on “high” setting and just shut up?” But my point is: there could be a setting where you have small textures that appears highly detailed from normal game-play distance, a mix from the best in “ultra” visuals with the performance of “high” or even “normal” setting. What do you think?
AcidZero - that does not work, for the following reason:
Texture maps are big. If you would LOD textures, your RAM would have to contain both the high quality and the lower quality texture, which would take more space and time than just loading the high quality texture.
Simply put, Lodding does not work with textures - only with models.

Yes it is a very funny picture. It generates two thoughts:
1) Was that volksgrenadier in the front photoshopped?
2) Why the hell did you guys nerf the bike?

I actually did not use any sort of photo doctoring. All i did was disable the taskbar and message for the pic.
