If you’re really itching to listen, http://relic.podbean.com is where the streaming link is up, but the voices are distorted for some reason. It’s still listenable. I’ll have to post the better version when I get back into the office and when it is not 3 am

April 5th, 2007 at 5:33 am
Great news, but what happened with the neat Video Podcasts you did some 6 months ago Buggo? Loved those.
April 5th, 2007 at 5:42 am
too awsome; I’m just getting around to learning CoH and now an expansion. Sweet!
April 5th, 2007 at 6:10 am
I absolutely LOVE Relic now! I’ve been waiting for a few years now for the British to be added in an RTS genre that’s worth playing. YES! Plus the good old Scottish accent is in it too. I’m Scottish myself, so I’m delighted that you guys included us in the game too. ^_^
This news really made my day. I can’t wait for it to come out. I have a question though. When you have an officer near your Infantry, does that make them the strongest infantry in the game, until the officer gets killed?

Buggo you are AWESOME!! Thanks so much and if you could find it in your heart to post us some more pics I’m sure we’d all love it
April 5th, 2007 at 9:51 am
And yes, Opposing Fronts will be available in both DX10 and DX9.
April 5th, 2007 at 1:11 pm
this is gona be great. basicly same as now only 2 allied and 2 axis to choose from and if coh can play vs of aswell that would be just awesome.
Buggo i have a request though, please please please make hotkeys changing less hard, we have to edit file and whatnot. exmple of ingame hotkey changing menu is in Rise of Legends or Command and Conquer 3, i believe that is most important aspect of game, without hotkeys set to ur liking its very hard to play so we need this feature
April 5th, 2007 at 2:35 pm
Scots, big tanks and artillery. And the Panzer Lehr to boot. Big YAY!

April 9th, 2007 at 4:47 pm
speeddealer, shut the f**k up.
April 10th, 2007 at 4:46 am
New to CoH, Buggo you mention on Relic’s forum there will be a DX10 and DX9 version, sold separately? The original CoH dx10 patch version plus the Opposing fronts expansion on one new disc?
April 11th, 2007 at 5:45 am
CoH has 2 thumbs up and a pinky. Buggo will the new expansion have any of your own flying units to control. dont get me wrong I liked calling in air support and off shore artilary (boooka!!!) but it would be great to have some sea vessels ( air craft carries, destroyers ) and some air crafts ( P51 Mustangs or P61 Balck windows )…….for all those C&C3 fans…..get a life…..stop playing fake games.
April 11th, 2007 at 11:47 am
Couldn’t you make the “Tommies” for the British come out in groups of 5? That way, you can garrison two groups of them inside normal-sized buildings, while allowing space for the Officer to get inside.
Again, thank you very much for adding the British. ^_^
April 12th, 2007 at 12:47 am
Awww, from what I’ve seen there aren’t gonna be any Aussies apart of the British side.
I beg Relic to make an ANZAC unit. Pwetty pwease.
They’d have the best voice-over in the game.
April 16th, 2007 at 7:54 pm
Ah! An expansion at last! New levels will be most welcome: the original just didn’t have enough…
It would be nice to have a bit more variety in the teams though: we seem to have another German and another Allied faction. I was rather looking forward to Soviets and perhaps Japanese… Still, I’m a sucker for British accents and my brother is a sucker for huge tanks. I’m sure we’ll both enjoy the expansion immensly
William
PS - I agree with Phazon: Australia never gets even a cameo appearance in games. The ANZACs (Australia and New Zealand army corps… I think) had, without doubt, the coolest hats of any of the armies participating in World War 2
April 19th, 2007 at 5:52 pm
Of course, for REAL British authenticity, I’d like to hear a unit say in a Cockney accent: “What the f**k do you fink you are doing you f*****g stupid c**t!” But that might be a bit TOO real world for your average 15 year old US demographic
Maybe sneak it in GTA San Andreas style ..
April 22nd, 2007 at 6:48 am
Put the ANZACs into the game plz, they were big part of ww2 as well!
April 25th, 2007 at 5:17 am
For real authenticity can we have some french running about aimlessly shouting “Retreat! retreat!”
April 26th, 2007 at 5:16 pm
Come on guys - “The Rats of Tobruk”, ANZAC legends of WW2! You’ve gotta whack some slouch hats in there! I personally will be willing to wait the extra few weeks it adds to the release date
May 7th, 2007 at 3:22 am
We want the ANZACS!!!
May 18th, 2007 at 7:25 am
Well after patch 1.61 I can play online. I hope OF will have better support for routers. I hope relic changes the multiplayer loby. It is still a mess.
Pod Cast is a fancy word for Audio news recording. Go figure.
