Ideas for contests?
What do you guys think would be some good ideas for contests I can run to give away beta keys? 
I have some ideas but it can’t hurt to have more!

1. Screen picture contest/ Cover design ideas for OF manual something arty etc.
2. For those of us who are less artistic and more literal, maybe a facts about WW2 or facts about gameplay for CoH contest.
3. My personal favourite give beta keys to ppl who request one…

Please arrange more mod and map making contests, that results in stuff that the community actually need.
That or plain 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 or even 4v4 tournaments would be nice to boost up the community.

Honestly, I would like to see that Relic gives a closed Beta key to however is willing to take time for doing something like re-con suggested above:
1. Screen picture contest/ Cover design ideas for OF manual something arty etc.
2. For those of us who are less artistic and more literal, maybe a facts about WW2 or facts about gameplay for CoH contest or something like suggestion for eventual faction or doctrine/company for upcoming CoH tittle.
Not simply giving them away freely, but giving them to hardcore CoH player that will take time to make a little story or dig up WW2 facts or doing an artistic arrangement or I don’t know what, but it will show that these persons simply take the time and want to be involved in the closed Beta process and also are willing to give their time to make the next CoH a really fun and as much as possible balanced right off the bath game !
Because the way it was done for the 1 vs 1 Tournament was a fiasco. So giving plenty of time and being clear about instruction on “how to” needs to be a top priority for the next event.

Funny screencap taken by enterant or maybe captions to an existing screencap.
That would be a simple comp that anyone can enter that isn’t limited to people in certain timezones and hopefully show that the enterant has a true love of the game

It’s not an idea for a contest, but I would take a look at which people have contributed a lot to the COH forum and offer them a beta key. I think this would be a great reward for dedicated members of the community.

I think the screenshot/game cover contests sound really cool. I’d really like to see what people could do for an Opposing Fronts cover. Sure, they could take screenshots of the game, but since Opposing Fronts isn’t out yet, I think we’d see some pretty creative entries…

Should consider mapping/modding contest as they’re an important part of the community aswell and have a hard time getting acknowledged as it is

I’d like to see a contest about something artisic pertaining to CoH. Like maybe a short story, screenshots, songs, and whatever fits your fancy.

How about a contest for those with cool looking signatures that they made themselves for the GR boards? I spent 2 hours making mine and if thats not dedication, and those that do it dont deserve a key, then I just dont know
Besides it would be a grwat way to get people to showcase and vote on cool sigs
would be fun just to see them all in one thread, key contest or not.

A screenshot thing or a Sig contest might be cool.
Another one is mabye ask people “Why do you want to join the OF beta?” That might be a cool one too.
Damn I can’t wait to play OF. I’ve never been so excited about a video game, LOL.
