Chances are its not necessarily Relic’s fault half the time its something which cannot be avoided anyway. Developing games is a complex business, theres a lot of things that need to go right for any form of release, beta or no. It could be a whole myriad of things. Secondly the public are always screaming out for dates, a date which was set and agreed on 2 months ago might have to change due to unforeseen circumstances later in the development, Relic are letting you play a game prior to release, i suggest you dont jump down their throats when it gets delayed slightly.

What is the reason for it not being released today? 24hrs isnt a big deal but you have a lot of anxious fans waiting on this.

There was a major (size wise) update released for the beta today, I suspect that the powers that be are (wisely) waiting to release an up to date beta installer for the influx of new Fileplanet beta testers - rather than putting more strain on the online servers and frustrating!

Hi everyone, the reason for the postponement was to fix a bug with the CD keys. This will hopefully ensure things go more smoothly tomorrow.
And James, unfortunately no the NDA will still be applicable, to community beta testers as well as to Fileplanet users.

i have been waiting all day yesterday for that key and now its the 15th which is wednesday do i have to wait all day until tomorrow because i live down under to get this key, i woke up and was so excited to get the key and then to my disappointment it wasnt there so please when will it come out in ethier est or in American east west or central time so i no when to look.

Yes, try turning off your antivirus/security programs and/or making yourself DMZ on your router if you still have problems forwarding your ports…
