Our first Mod day will likely be 2 weeks from now. I will probably be selecting mods based on the order they were posted in the below blog entry, so if you feel your mod isn’t ready yet… no worries, make a post on the list when your mod is in a state you are satisfied with and you will still get a chance to participate!

Hi everyone, I’m working on putting together a really cool even (involving limited edition Relic t-shirts). I’m going to be running “Mod Days”, where everyone gets online to try out a new mod. Both the modders and people playing the mod that day will have a chance to win the t-shirts. I won’t post up what the t-shirts look like yet but I have them in my hands and they are awesome!

So, if you’re interested in getting your mod some playtime during these “Relic Game Mod Days”, please post the name of the mod, your role on the mod team, and a link to your mod in the comments of this blog post.

I’ll set something up soon!

P.S. Any Relic game will work…. CoH, DoW, Homeworld, etc etc…

Please note that in Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts we are making some changes to the way CD keys are handled from the original Company of Heroes. We are allowing users to reclaim a previously used Product Key to make a new account.

However there are some limitations:

- A Key can only be transferred 3 times, on the 3^rd time the key is banned. (exact # subject to change without notice)

- If your account has no key, (ie someone took it form you) you are banned, if you take it back you become unbanned, but the person you took it from is banned, note limitation above however.

- In the retail product you will need to insert the DVD in the drive in order to transfer the key. (But you don’t need the DVD in the drive in order to play as long as you have an internet connection)

- There is a warning on the screen that transferring a key might result in you being banned before you click accept on the transfer operation.

(Also note that in the beta since there is no DVD provided, this will not be a requirement – however it will be for the retail version of the game).

I’m back from vacation. It was fun… got to see all my old friends on the east cost. I took some cool pics too but you know me, I never get around to posting them. (I’ll still try!)
